This is just the opinion of someone who's been largely monogamous most of her life, but I always got the impression that threesomes were one of those things that sounded good on paper but didn't necessarily work out that well in the long run. I think of all of the possible complications in a situation like this (sharing STDs, pregnancy, boyfriend or even husband finding out, other family members finding out, the sis getting pissed off at you and making trouble in your marriage, etc.) In the long run, I would not think the payoff is worth the potential hassle. Consider what is best for the state of marriage first; anything else really ought to come second.
