Whatever. It seems there's very little science one way or another, and believe me, as someone the same as you, I've looked.
So, here's what I suggest:
1) Lots like you, don't feel like some sort of weirdo or all alone.
2) Take it easy, take it slow and don't (for example) post asking complete strangers to tie you up. A bit dangerous to say the least.
3) There seem to be lots more of us who love being tied up than tiers. Who knows why - I sometimes think that those who like to tie have a harder time dealing with that idea than whose of us who like to be tied.
I also think, sometimes, that those of us who like to be tied up have a more physical experience than those who get a minute or two of tying and gagging and then...what?
4) My friends that I have told about bondage, and to me it was this great sob-story, all have said either, "ya, so?" or "well, where's your rope?" I.e., to you maybe it's a deep dark secret. To them it's, see above.
5) Like yourself. If you wanted to rape, pillage and murder, get help. If you're not into hurting others - then you're normal - chill.
