I wear ear plugs 24/7 - 20% Normal

I wear ear plugs. All the time.
I feel as if i have more control with them in
I wear them to uni and cover them up with a hat/beanie.
i know this is not normal. does anyone get me?

btw, earing earphones while eating lowers your taste sensations... People don't get "attached" to food when they don't hears themselves eating.

That's really interesting. I hear myself eat quite loudly. Since wearing them, I suppose I have noticed an increase in my appetite. Perhaps that would be an interesting experiment to see the corellation between hearing oneself eating and to gaining weight. Perhaps a possible cure for anorexia!

Have you gotten your ears checked? Maybe it's sensitive to being exposed or something.

been to an osteopath for it and he assumed I was sensitive to sound. No I haven't had any tests done. I reckon that it's just a comfort thing. I feel a little bit unhappy and it seems to take the edge of it... I feel more in control.
Weird huh?
