Why can't you find a place that allows pets?

Bullshit. Any major city will have pet-friendly apartments available.

I don't qualify for an apartment. The ones that I do qualify for are about 1500$ more expensive.

"I don't qualify for an apartment"

What the fuck does that mean?

"I don't qualify for an apartment"...vs..."The ones that I do qualify for"

So you don't qualify for an apartment, whatever the fuck all that means...but then you DO qualify for one? Can you please explain?

A responsible pet owner keeps their animals fed, shelered and healthy. It doesn't sound like you can manage that so it might be best to find a good home for the cat. You don't have to drop it at a shelter, you can put an ad on craigslist looking for a good home for it, interview the people who respond and even go visit their home to make sure it's suitable. You have to make the best choices for both you and the cat, if you need to move to get a job then do it. It doesn't make much sense to derail your whole life for a cat especially if you can't afford to take care of it. What if the cat had a medical emergency right now? You wouldn't be able to get care for it if you don't have a job or enough money saved. Give the cat to someone who can provide for it and get your life together. Once you get stable and have some money saved then think about getting a pet.

Well I guess you never tried to rent so I will explain how this type of thing works. When you get an apartment you need to have credit or 6 month job expirence. Most of my jobs are not 6 months long. They are all short term positions so I cant rent anything under my name.

Also if I want it sold for body parts and science expirements ill sell it on craiglist. Craiglist is a very shady website and if anyone cares about something they wouldnt be selling it on there. I already have a pet, I got this pet when I was in HS, its not like I just suddenly bought it recently.

No, that's not how all apartments work. They don't ALL require credit checks or time on the job. Why don't you find a room to rent? There's always people looking for roommates or renting out a basement room or whatnot. Often these types of situations are a lot less strict with the background checks. And it could also be considerably cheaper.

Your post says you can't move because of the cat but now you're saying you can't rent a place because of your credit and your job. Which is it? Are you trying to blame the cat instead of trying to fix your credit and job situation?

About the cat, like I said...you have to do what's best for both of you. It doesn't sound like you are in a very good spot stability-wise. It sounds like you need to get yourself established and get some money saved. I find it pretty stupid to hold yourself back just because of the cat. How will you even take care of him if you can't find a job where you are at now? Find a responsible person to take him and get your life in order.

No, the piont is I have no where to put the cat, and I dont have credit so I wont pass a creditcheck to get an apartment. Since I have 0 credit. Also you never had to rehome an animal before. Its far easier said then done, and Its not like I know a lot of people.

The truth is there are so many animals, especially cats, out there in shelters and foster care that you cant expect anyone else to take your animal, unless you give them to a good friend, and then expect to know what's going to happen to them. Not to be dark but if the situation is that you have to move and you can seriously under no circumstances can take an animal with you, that's the reality.

Find a nice isolated spot in a wooded area somewhere and leave it there. Its survival instincts should kick in after a couple of days.
