I really don't want to, I've had the same decision about it all my life and I'm 18 now, but my mum still goes on about making her a grandma or whatever. There are a lot of reasons why I never want to become pregnant and have a baby, first of all my opinion on babies is that they are disgusting ugly idiots. I hate them, however if I have to be around a baby I'm not mean to them as I know better and it isn't their fault for being horrible.

I am also disgusted by pregnancy, having something living and moving around inside your body sounds like a horror movie, it's like from that movie aliens vs predators. Then you have to raise the little shit and spend all your money on it for 18 years. I'd rather not spend my time cleaning shit stained diapers and staying awake as it cries all night, I'd rather play my part in the workforce and enjoy holidays and having fun.

We are also way too overpopulated already, and making another baby to add to the already billions of people seems selfish and foolish, especially since their are already young children in this world that need homes. Making another baby instead of adopting is cruel as fuck, because you're basically letting orphans suffer and rot in their orphanages just because they don't share your blood. That is literally the only difference between an adopted child and a child you made, it's blood and it is very insignificant.

I literally am sure I do not ever want to have my own child, and if there's the small chance I change my mind, I am adopting.

It's normal not to want to have children. I also feel the same way about birth; I guess it's a phobia. I would rather live happily traveling the world and doing what I want when I want without having to worry about taking care of anyone else, aside from my boyfriend who I will hopefully marry one day. Kids aren't for everyone.

You were sliiiightly on the right path in the beginning but then your 18 year old reasoning kicked in and made you look like a complete trog.

The following statement has nothing to do with you but I just want to throw in my two cent's worth:

I think it's sad that truly smart people reason about overpopulation and adoption for the greater good but, by reasoning like that, they decide to deprive the world of their smartypant dna.
Enter dumb people; who breed like sex crazed rats and, in doing so, putting their eventual children into this world already giving the child a massive disadvantage.

I wish dumb people could stop populating and smart people can start

I think most of the reason for that is due to limited lack of resources for education, while countries like America are blessed with satisfactory education a lot of other countries can't even afford to keep their kids in a schooling system. You see this a lot with immigrants or people who migrate from a poor country into a wealthy one, as they still have that mindset that they need to procreate until they have up to twelve children because a lot of the time back in their country child deaths are more common, as well as a lack of sexual education and protection.

My mother came from a rather poor country, her family lived on a farm in the wilderness and had to grow and hunt their own food, which would often leave them starving. They could barely afford anything so some of my mums siblings didn't even go to school.

I hope I don't sound racist as I'm not saying everyone who comes from a poor country is stupid, it's just they lacked the education growing up. I feel like if education systems were made a priorty and less costly there would be less people who lack intelligence.

I also feel like a restriction on children would be able to help to, where you would have to go through tests to determine if you'd be a fit parent or not. Limiting how many children you can have would be good to, nothing crazy like China though, probably a limit of 3 kids would be best.

The other day I saw two drunk women cussing at each other. One of them had a child on her back and the only thing keeping that child on her back was a towel that she tied around her stomach.
They punched each other without caring what would happen if the baby fell or anything. Punching and pulling each other's hair.
Somehow the kid didn't get harmed.

Later, the drunk woman tried to walk home but the road was uphill by probably 1'. . .but we know what drunk people look like when walking. This woman was back peddling into traffic, arms held out in front of her like a zombie. Then she fell flat on her back on the tarmac. Then she pissed her pants.

I don't know if the child died from the impact but it made no sound. The police did throw her in the back of the van a few minutes later

I'm in my mid twenties and don't ever want one either. For one I don't find them cute (or at least not most of them), the thought of pregnancy both scares me and I find it disgusting and there are more than enough people on this planet as it is.

Then don't have one and don't adopt one either, because it sounds as if you have a phobia not only of pregnancy, but of infants and small children.

It's normal to not want a baby but your mindset isn't normal. You need help. I'm not saying it to be mean or bully you. You really do need help. I hope one day you at least change your opinion on babies in general. Your horrible opinion affects others. The future of the world is in the minds of kids. And if you're going to have that satanic vibe around them, it'll break their hearts. I didn't know anyone with this mindset existed.

What a load of bullshit.

I don't like children at all, but that doesn't mean I'm going to be purposely be cruel to them. When I'm around children I do my best to look after them as I know they need to be cared for, it's just I rarely get in that situation because I try to avoid them. If I somehow get stuck with babysitting a families kid I'm not going to complain and show the kid I don't like them, because that would be immature.

How can my opinion affect others when I'm doing this? I've never been mean or rude to a child at all lol

This sadly isn't some brave, avant garde opinion. It's a litany all too common among this current generation of childbearing-aged women, who'd rather do anything but bear children.

You won't realize this now and maybe you never will, but there's a reason the catlady stereotype exists. There are some of them on this site: crazed and lonely women who use animals to mask the emptiness they feel deep inside.

The path towards a fulfilling life, for women, involves bringing new life into the world, into a loving family. You can avoid it, but you'll ultimately end in misery.

I don't have cats, or any animal for that matter. How can I end up in misery when I have a loving husband? lol

Didn't take you for a married woman, at 18. Do you have a job and have you moved out of your parents house?

We actually only got married a few months ago, though I've known him since I was a kid and we started dating in our high school years. I'm living in a rental house with him however we plan on buying our own house, I have to get through college first though. I'm hoping to study engineering or programming.

Good. Focus on financials now, there's no reason to even get pseudophilosophical about children for years.

We can add basic child care to the list of things you don't know shit about.

Modern cloth nappies/diapers are a big thing. And regardless of the material, the shit needs to be wiped off the child. Which anyone with half a brain would understand to be what the OP was saying.

Anyway. I suspect you're the one who has never had sex. Never will, either.

Have you worked out how old you are yet?

This isnt jolly ol ' England.
Diapers are disposable.
NO rational person with half a brain in their right mind washes diapers in a washing machine and gets shit and piss on other clothes and in the water to stink up the joint.

What does England have to do with anything?

Oh so much stupid...where would I even start?

" So much stupid " doesnt make any sense and it's not even a catch phrase or a sentence.
Consider the source.

Cute. Get back to me when:

1. You realise that just because a way of using words isn't in your very limited vocabulary, doesn't mean it isn't in frequent use.
2. You work out if you're in your 50's or were in 9th grade 49 years ago. Both doesn't work so you have to pick.
3. You work out that the phrase is "drop trou", not "dropping a trout".

That'll do for starters.
