Fall out boy, sugar going down, is the perfect example! I love this song but it is so much better when a woman sings it imo. There are many other examples... And btw im a hetero male.

Check out Tori Amos' album Strange Little Girls, it's literally all covers of songs sung by male artists about females.

Sorry, but other than crucify and maybe winter, Tori Amos is an instant migraine.

... in your opinion. Some people really dig her music. I personally think her music is yummy in a feminist baroque-alternative sort of way.

Yeah imo. Shes super talented i have a bunch of friends that love her, and a few that despise her. Too me most of the time her voice sounds like breaking Styrofoam lol.

You can follow her on Twitter and request songs for her to sing if you want to.

That is shit songwriting whoever sings it. Very cheeky of the writer to steal the title of a good song for it.

No! But i will. I also am not exclusively pro women covering mens songs, i like the opposite as well, just can't think of so many examples.

I do a decent version of Baccara's "Yes Sir, I can Boogie".
