Well it's possible that she wants to look presentable to herself. It's also possible that she will be attending a fancy galore late in the evening. I would suggest approaching her and asking her this question. I wouldn't particularly call this weird though.

Why is she in pajamas all day?

Only if she's going out or expecting visitors.

However, you are not preparing her for the real world if you allow her to laze around in pyjamas all day.

Be a parent and tell her, get up, get washed, get dressed, now make yourself useful in the house / community!!
