IDK what to tell you, poster. Are there any really heavy bricks on your plate? You might be someone who derives motivation externally, so if there are no trying forces compelling you to get a job, then why bother? Then again, I can tell you having been a professional sit-arounder that one day, shit will start to pile up, so its good to be ready when it does. You dont want mad bills, rent, fines, and other fees stacking up while you are finding a job. Just try to get a job because sooner or later life will happen and it will rape you in the mouth.

Same boat mate...... im depressed and just cant be arsed right now. Im under a huge amount of stress cus of me mam and dad being unhappy with how my life is going. FUCK OFF AND LET ME BE A BUM!

It's hard to keep motivated but try to keep the routine of getting up early, getting out at least once a day and keep searching for a job. Bar work is great for socialising.

We (humans) need to change the way we see employment - or lack of it. Rapidly rising population means there simply aren't enough jobs for everyone any more, so we've ended up with this ridiculous world in which people do pointless jobs, or don't and are constantly made to feel bad about it.
Work should be seen as a privilege, to be competed for by those willing. For in a properly run society, all the pointless jobs will be eliminated, and the menial ones will be done by robots - so the only jobs left will be really cool ones (like Starship Captain...)

Mind you, we don't live in this perfect society, we live in the real world. So either get a job, or get made to feel like a bum!

Try being unemployed for over a year! First time in my life I can't get a job at 27 years old. I didn't get into my pharmacy school. I have debt. I have a misdemeanor. Which is taking forever to be expunged. What i do is i try to control other things such as staying in shape and organizing my life where i can ... i too have lost faith many of time...hang in just do it. there's nothing else you can do. Giving up is not an option permanently it's okay temporarily. Forgive yourself when you fail...just don't do the same crap over again....tomorrow is another freaking day.
