My cockatiel's name is Bing and she is extremely friendly. She isn't scared of us at all and loves to have a ride on our shoulders. We don't have a cage for her since she doesn't misbehave or anything.

My friend's skin she eats, my skin, my dad's, and more. Like she bites the part on the side of our nails and literally chews it off. It doesn't hurt too much but then later it sort of hurts. WTH? IIN?

The skin thing is probably a normal habit for a bird, but I don't think you should allow it to continue if it is causing you pain. You should train it to not do that anymore. Get it one of those special stones that they use their beak on to dull it.
