Ok, so I'm walking into the walmart grocery store, and I walk by this couple. It was an average built man, and this big nasty obese woman. I don't mean pleasantly plump or curvy, or just thick, or anything like that, I mean nasty. Fat hanging off every part of her even her legs, and to make things worse she was wearing short shorts.
So this got me thinking, this guy has got to be average, I'd say a 5 or 6 (I'm not gay or nothing but social standards say he's average) Anyway, this woman is a 1, on a good day.
So this has me worried, I consider myself maybe a 6 or 7 on a good day. Is this what I have to look forward to? Do average guys now settle for WAY below average girls? If so why is this so? I don't want to end up like him. It got me worried.
So I imagine it is possible he just has a fat fetish, OR she plumped up after they got married. I can't think of any other explanation.

I could see if she had a deformity, but it's just flat out laziness.
By the way, I neglected to mention they had a little boy with them (presumably their son) I'd guess about 8 years old, he looked to be over 100 lbs easily. Definitely a little fat boy. I felt bad for the kid. Fat momma teaching her son terrible eating habits.
People can love who they want to love, I just don't understand how you get involved with someone like that.
And even more than that I don't understand how a person could look at their partner everyday who looks like this and not want to vomit. I would indeed say fetish.
You can get off your high horse too, don't act like you would date some obese guy if he was nice to you.
He can be nice to you all he wants and have a great personality but you're gonna doubt your decision when your digging around in his fat crevices to find his penis.
First off, let's go over reasons which would lead a person to be overweight.
They were raised by parents who fed them junk food on a regular basis and were not physically active or used junk food as positive reinforcement (like, if you behave I will give you a candy bar and you can watch TV).
Have a glandular problem.
Were abused/molested as children and used food as a comfort or as a means to (and this happens) purposefully gain weight so they would be too unattractive for a sexual abuser to take interest in.
From what I have seen, as in I have seen this before and from my personal experience...
They are not a couple and this was just your assumption (they were friends, relatives, co-workers, business partners, or any other random relation)
She gives him some sort of monetary support (rides, money, a place to stay, etc.) She either does not see that she is being used or is fine with it in exchange for the company (low self-esteem due to aforementioned reasons and doesn't believe she is worth anything better).
Due to aforementioned reasons, she has low self-esteem and he is an abuser, and she allows him to abuse her and he sticks with her because she provides an outlet for his abusive tendencies and she feels that she can't do better ("I'm fat and helpless and a horrible person")
She did not look as bad before they got together and something happened (maybe a health problem or one of the aforementioned reasons, depression, or another factor which would cause her to use food as a method of comfort) and he is committed enough to the relationship to stay (maybe due to having children or financial obligations, being a traditional dude or maybe he really likes her).
SHE is an abuser and HE is the one with self-confidence issues due to having a poor upbringing.
They met online and he "fell in love with her" without full comprehension of her physical image and was easily able to overcome her outward appearance by that virtue.
Or she has a great personality and he loves that about her enough to overlook the weight problem. Maybe it is something that she has been fighting and he is her "battle buddy".
Either way, this isn't totally uncommon.

Either way, they met, they talked, it happened. Not everyone is as horribly disgusted by those kind of things as you. I see them all of the time. They no longer even phase me.
You might not find her pleasing the eye, but she's probably a angel to the guy she's with. Just because a "average man" was with a bodacious woman doesn't mean that that's the only type you could get. There's many different types of women out there and the same goes with men. Don't worry so much.
And no, I'd rather be alone then have a partner that looks like that. That may sound vain, but that's the way it is.
I don't expect no super model, I'd be happy with an average looking chick.
Fat, ugly, and disgusting is not for me. I'd rather die alone.
As for beautiful girls, rarely do their personalities match up with how their looks do. If it does AND she doesnt ignore you, then what a catch. More and more I dont think women like this exist though, outside of the movies.
And I completely agree with the fat, ugly, and disgusting opinion. I would take it one step further, that I would rather die alone then have a "pretty" wife BUT one who told what to do, when to do it, how to do it and even what to think. Its seems thats what marriage is supposed to be today.
