They say women are the fairer sex, but I happen to think that men are more beautiful for some reason, and not just because I'm a girl, sexuality, or anything like that. Like, I think women are prettier but when it comes to the actual word "beauty" I think men are more beautiful. Like they are so toned and they have perfect angles in their faces and beautifully angled jaws. Women are so small and have no pazzazz to their faces; almost like children. Women usually do more with themselves, but if you put the world's most beautiful man next to the world's most beautiful woman, I'd think the man was more beautiful. And I don't think this has to do with the fact that I'm a straight female.It's more of the the art of appearences.

I'm a straight female and I find good looking, well built men more attractive than any woman either. Wow, big revelation.
I'm straight, and yet I think women are the fairer sex. Most people do, including straight women. I mean, look at how many artists draw beautiful women all the time. Look up statistics on how many female nudes there are in art museums compared to male nudes. Tons of female artists draw nothing but pretty girls, too. That doesn't mean most women are lesbians and just don't know it. The OP just happens to think the opposite, that men are more visually pleasing.
What you think is the worlds most beautiful man may only be beautiful to you.

Also, if you are talking about men in magazines and on the television, I hope you know that they wear make-up and their photos are photo- shopped just like the female's are. If you are talking about locals in your area, that's just that one area. You could go to France or Brazil and change your mind because you might see more beautiful women than men.
Now there is nothing more gorgeous on stage in a ballet than the male body and its muscles performing the delicate, yet strong and precise moves. Absolutely nothing. Baryshnikov, Nureyev, Nijinsky... Beauty really is subjective.
I think finding men more beautiful is less socially acceptable than finding women more beautiful - that's for both men and women. We are constantly encouraged by art and media to view women as beautiful objects to be superficially admired and sexualised.
Holding the feminine aesthetic ideal to an esteem beyond the masculine aesthetic ideal makes beauty synonymous with femininity, simultaneously making ugly synonymous with masculinity (since they are generally opposites). It creates a culture where women and men generally admire females physically more than males, especially publicly, and this is self perpetuating; you only need to look at the art world, television and cinema to see this continuation of the feminising of beauty.
So Western civilisations generally encourage the opposite to what you consider beautiful, OP, but I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who hold the same view as you, or find men and women equally beautiful in different ways :)
I'm a straight guy but can definitely appreciate the aesthetic beauty of some men and the masculine ideal.

Hello, I'm ItDuz. I'll be the one that proves you wrong in most of anything you say when it comes to gender discussions.
I find it quite interesting how people can say women are the more beautiful of the genders, and that they are looking more beautyful with each knew generation of women, but that is just wrong, the only thing progressing is the types of make up.
If females were to not wear makeup, there would be more people that notice males being more beautiful.
I also think it's the norm to find women more beautiful because when it comes to women, looks are more indicative of fertility and attractiveness as a mate than looks are for men. This results in a general opinion that women are the prettier sex. I know this isn't true for all people though, and I think that's fine.
But some women do have beautifully angled jaws and pizzazz to their faces. Stop being so stereotypical.

Quite often the "hot" girls look like shit without make up on. Its very easy for an average girl to look way above average with alot of makeup.
