I think maternity pictures are a stupid waste of money.
And no, I am not trolling. My friends, most of whom are my age (20) are knocked up (in some cases, again), and even though they complain that they are so broke, they are going out and getting professional photographers to take pictures of their "OMG BABY BUMP OMG OMG".
As if I wasn't totally convinced that my friends are idiots. They were pretty cool people before they got knocked up, but we were never close anyway. I think the whole "Show off your Baby Bump!" concept is stupid to begin with, but that's just me.

Great for trolling your kids during their teen years. When they are old enough to have facebooks, tag them in the photos and let the lulz ensue.
Take a video of the birth too and play it at their birthday parties. Great way to prevent teen pregnancy, in my opinion.
