For my entire life I've been an awkward shy guy. I hardly if ever say anything, and when I do, it's not that significant.
I am pretty certain that I have social anxiety disorder, but I will not go into detail about this because I like to remain anonymous.
Around girls, I'm a really shy guy, much more than I am with my guy friends. It happens even more so when I'm interested in one of them. I just hangout with them while they talk amongst themselves, occasionally asking me about something or I say something (which is rare). I have a feeling that they find me to be annoying for my occasional times I say something. The main problem I would say I have is that I just don't know what to say. I have tried forcing myself to say something, but it just makes the situation awkward.
Is this normal? Either way, how do I put a stop to it OTHER THAN tacking medication?
