Or, perhaps along similar lines of thought... it could just be that the thoughts of hurtful or dangerous things are spiking chemicals within the body. i.e. the "fight or flight" syndrome, and along with that, the groin may also be affected.
After all, IIRC throughout history, battle and arousal have often gone hand in hand
although if it is something that really bothers you, you may want to consider asking a medical professional if this is something to be concerned about.
also if the tingles become painful i would definitely ask a doctor.
