It's relatively new - only in the past 5 years or so. Also, they try to keep it quiet before all the scumbags jump on the bandwagon but that's why girls aren't allowed to skip with a rope anymore - in case they trip! Ridiculous!!
Most teachers don't really like boys coz they are disruptive. It's easier to teach kids that are sitting concentrating ie. girls. I teach one to one and prefer boys coz they don't talk a load of rubbish about their friends or make-up etc.
