I'm 21 and I still live at home with my parents. I've never been away from them except when I used to spend the night at a friend's house when I was about 12 - 13, or when they had to go away on business/deal with family stuff. The reason I still live at home is because I have a lot of mental health problems. My parents are very overprotective of me, and they are afraid that I wouldn't be able to make it on my own. I also think there's a part of them that doesn't want me to leave because they'd miss me too much (we're a very tight-knit family).
