Let me explain this better.
If someone posts something absolutely ridiculous or dumb on facebook, I'll often type a really snotty response, fully intending to delete it. Then I type a completely different response or nothing at all. It makes me feel better, but I am terrified that one of these times I'll accidentally hit the comment button instead of deleting. But it's just such a good way to vent with no consequences.
I've tried opening a word document and doing it, but it's just not as satisfying.
I do it with texts too.

The point is, be really, really careful where you point that mouse.
I'll write something that I want to say as my facebook status, and then delete it and not post anything. It's kind of like writing a mean letter to a jerky boss but sending it to yourself or deleting it all together. You want to send it or post it, but you're screwed if you do so you don't.
Just be careful and don't press the post or send button!
Again, normal.
