Hmm.... I'm a Muslim,and I don't want to discuss the details of Islam,as you must already know them.
Just to answer your question,you cannot marry a man from another Religion,according to Islam. If you don't follow the other rules then why you worrying about this one?
All I can tell you is that read the Quran,just once... With translation,let your heart decide,or Just pray to ALLAH,he always listens.
This life will finish in 15-20 years,we'r all gona die,no one lives for forever. Then wether we'r Muslim,Hindu,christian,we will all have to go forward and tell what we did in the short lives that were gifted to us.
Did we waste our life drinking,partying or did we use out life in a good way,follow Allah's path and do good deeds.
The decision is all yours.
If not much,just read the translation of the few versus from the beginning. You can do it online. I hope I didn't hurt you. May Allah show us all the right path.(Ameen)

I've seen other people (via real life and t.v.) that deal with this same issue. Personally I dont see the big deal, if you too and respect each other and each others religon. Any children cn just be exposed to both cultures and grow up more cultured and open as a result/ It might cause strife or confusing at time, but i never see it being a big deal, unless one of your families strongly disaprove, but maybe it be a good thing to start a family away from closed-mind, and spitefulness like that.

From the islamic studies I was brought up with, I can tell you that in islam, only muslim men are allowed to marry christian/jewish women. It cannot work the other way around (muslim women marrying christian/jewish men) as traditional islam is largely patriarchal.

But hey, I'm not a muslim anymore and all of my muslim friends are liberal so my advice is do whatever makes you happy and marry the guy.

Sweetheart if you want to marry him then your religion shouldn't hold you back. I have Muslim friends who drink, have tattoos, smoke, eat pork almost daily. Being a Muslim should be a private thing and not determined by what you do on the outside. And if part of that means marrying a Christian man then do it.

Honestly, if you're not that religious, I don't really see what the big deal is if you marry a non-Muslim or not- if you want to marry him, then marry him. But then again, I barely have any knowledge on Islam, so what I say is probably, you know, that not great or helpful.
