To be more specific, I'm afraid of a certain type of alien called greys. Which is your average alien- grey/green skin, big heads, and big black eyes. Little green men.
I don't know why or what started it, but it's gotten to the point where I can't even sleep in any room with windows because my imagination gets away and makes me think all kinds of horrible things. And don't even get me started on plane lights and stuff at night.
The problem is, I have no idea why I'm afraid of them. And only them, I'm not really afraid of other types of aliens like in Independence Day...or War of the Worlds...or stuff like that. I'm also not afraid of being abducted. Just of the *actual* alien.
It's coming to a point where all I think about is them. Well, not the aliens, but rather how I can go through my day without encountering anything that may have a picture of an alien or something. (Lol, in other words, I stay far away from sci-fi stores!)
Should I seek some kind of professional help for this?
