I have awful breath at times, and when I'm talking on the phone with someone I have this fear that they can smell my horrendous halitosis through the telephone.
The speaker part of the phone stinks. I feel it's like something from the Matrix where my breath ripples through the telephone wires and attacks people on the receiving end and they have to do like Neo and dodge my breath vapors like bullets.
This is so crippling that I don't answer the phone unless I have to. Then again sometimes I will call people I don't like and hope this fear is true and they are gagging from my foul mouth odors.

This reminds me of when people say that they wish they could reach through the phone to straggle/kick someone's ass. You're being paranoid. Phones thankfully can't transfer smells and if they could I'm sure by now that one of your friends would've told you the truth.
Seems like a good idea, no?
