I'm not spiritual but nearly my whole family is. Is that normal?

Spirituality is for the ones who cannot fathom the might of the fourth spacial dimension. If you cannot see 4-D by age 15 you must either commit suicide. or gouge your eyes out in repentance.
no not really it just matters if you belive in it
Dont matter what you believe in. Some prick will come along sooner or later and burst your bubble!
the word spiritual is myth it doesn't exist, most people believe things that aren't true, and to make them look less like idiots they call it "spirituality"
What are you talking about..
I's made a pancake, it look like sa Baby Jesus on it.. Lowdy Lowdy Lowdy mer--seh!!
Yeah its totally normal :)

Research has shown that there is a specific brain area that is involved in the experience of spirituality. Your temporal lobe (where this area is located) is simply wired differently that those of your more spiritual or religious family.

This is not a bad thing. You are more likely to be good a science as you naturally require evidence to believe in something.

And remember, at the end of the day, if there is a God, He/She/It made you the way your are. Be proud of it and utilize it to better yourself.
if u take away the spiritual part of this your left with

"i'm nothing like the rest of my family"

which is actually very normal! i'm nothin like my family... they're all quite old fashioned and i'm very modern. and i havnt even inherited this... i was probably jst moulded from society more. maybe you mwere too.
Sure it's normal. I'd personally have more in common with you than with your family.
being in tune with God (or gods, depending on your belief) has nothing to do with what your family thinks. it's about you. do research, ask yourself questions and try to answer them for yourself, it doesn't hurt to seek advice from others as well. look at multiple aspects and go full on.
that's around my alley

when you say "spiritual", what exactly do you mean?

going to church or holding on to books that were written a long time ago and have been terribly altered is not spirituality. it's just a lifestyle.

how does it not exist
Lack of religion does not mean you cannot still be spiritual.I personally am fascinated by not knowing where it all came from. Why limit the possibilities of what you believe in?
