At my college there is this girl that I am absolutely smitten over. I barely know her, and our class schedules don't offer any good opportunities for us to meet up in any significant way. The one thing that really stands out about her is that she usually wears jerseys from a soccer team called DC United.
Because of this, I've become nearly obsessed with the team. I bought my own jersey, plan on buying season tickets, and even bought a brand new PS3 and a copy of FIFA 12 so that I can play as DC United online. And this is coming from a guy who, a couple of months ago, never really cared for soccer or video games. I'm not really sure what's come over me. If anybody can offer some input on this, please comment.

Kudos on following football, though. There are some people who'll tell you it's the best sport in the world. And then there are those of us who know that it's the only sport in the world. :)
Anyway, it's nice that you have something in common, so if you ever get to talk to her you'll have plenty to talk about. Maybe if you get to know each other better you'll have even more in common. Good luck. :]
