im turning emo and i love it but...

I've been trying to find the real me for what seems like ever and now i'm starting to turn em ...lol...i think i like it but I'm not that sociable and the few not-very-close friends that I have are starting to treat me...differently and I hate it and am not sure what to do. The other emos of our grade (along with everyone else) don't really talk to me because I'm so shy and never know what to say! I can't seem to find anyone who is like me and would make a good friend... By the way I sit by the normal "non popular people" at lunch. (some people call them nerds lol)

Just be yourself. Contrary to popular belief, you don't need to act like everyone else to be somebody. It's really their loss, not yours, if they're so ignorant that they can't see you for who you really are.

Ah, yes. The emo breed.

Not good enough to be goth and hang out at the local movie theater with black makeup and striped stockings, kissing your male buddies behind a building and thinking it's cool to be bisexual.

Not quite smart enough to realize your life has crashed and burned and suicide is the only options.

EMOOO. And your point being? Be who YOU wanna be, doesnt make a differnece where you sit or who yours friends with, why should you care?! If you like being an 'emo' ugh, then fine whatever, your choice, not like anyone elses oppinion matters when it comes to you being what you want to be. And again, EMO.

I am not an emo but i get drunk with my mates and we cut our legs, run into trailers, waterboard ourselves with booze, sew cotten through our hands and i have tattoed a nazi swastiki onto my foot-all for a laugh. Not because we are deppressed.

well im guessin ur pretty young and everyone goes threw stages like that in life. and as u grow up u start to realize who ur true friends r.. and if these ppl dont accept you for who u r they r not ur true friends.. enjoy the journey of becoming whoever u may be :)
