Im not sure about a 3rd cousin. If something was wrong Im sure your family would object. If you consider having children consult a doctor for some tests I dont know what they are but I know they exist apart from that I wouldnt worry

Why is incest all that wrong if the couple doesn't have kids? Genetically, it's wrong to have kids because of the gene pool which has proven to cause ailiments in children who are products of incest. But otherwise....it's a cultural interpretation. If you can't help who you love intimately, then how is it wrong to love a family member? I am a lesbian, in love with my second or third cousin. It's not like we're popping out babies. Even so, I know of a couple who were second cousins and DID have kids, and they were fine.

why is incest wrong? the book of deuteronomy says that anyone commiting or born of incest, down to the tenth generation, is going to hell.. since the western world is majority christian or jewish, it's just one of those taboos... in the arab islam world, it's common to marry first cousins...

in most states anything past 1st cousin is fine.and even with first cousins who would care enough to press charges?
