i dont pay any mind to internet slang, its not something that bothers me but at the same time its not something i like.

its WAAAYYY too boring to want to talk proper all the time...if im tryin to be serious and ppl try to chat like that...it annoys the sht out of me.. and it is annoying if people talk like that in person. I dont mind though if you're jus chattin and bein silly on the web. And i thing its SILLY if a guy does it.. But its okay to a point. Only if the timing is right and its on the web. ;) but its cool if it annoys you. everyone has their own opinions. =)

I think that this is kinda retarded. Language is defined by the people, so internet slang can still be considered a part of literature. Failure to accept this just means that you have an inability to adapt. Using internet slang is the same thing as using a new catchphrase (well, technically, they ARE catchphrases). The only people who have a reason to care are literature professors, and seeing that you probably aren't one, you should quit being lame.
