Well, some people may feel that Pink Floyd are a little too pretentious, in reference to their concept albums and The Wall, and I'd have to say I agree with them, as I usually listen to the Floyd right after Syd left("Soundtrack from the Film 'More'" to "Atom Heart Mother").

I love Pink Floyd! Radiohead are amazing too. I couldn't choose between them.

Pink Floyd is the shit! I think it's normal. It's easy to get sucked into the story of Pink Floyd when listening to the Wall or to become entranced by the Dark Side Of The Moon. Even their less well-known albums are fantastic. I really like Meddle and Obscured by Clouds and a Momentary Lapse of Reason. Anyway, Pink Floyd isn't exactly the kind of music you listen to with other people unless others are really into it as well. It's very personal for me. They are one of those bands where you have to listen to an entire album to truly experience the music. Yeah certain songs stand out...but if I want to listen to a Pink Floyd song, I'm going to listen to the whole album damn it!

I love Pink Floyd. It's like all their albums are a journey, and you are taken to a completely different state of mind. Their music is so beautiful and timeless. They're my favorite band ever. They can't really be compared to any other.

I am in love with them as well. But I agree, you have to listen to an entire album. It will make you leave and become enveloped in the music. I also [agree] that unless there is someone else who loves them as much or more than you do then I listen to it by myself. Kind of like "mine, they're all mine" x)
