I like to drive but is it normal to drive this fast on public roads?
Do you think it's normal?

You must be a youngster. It is normal for you kids to drive like crazy on roads these days.
Depends.

Were you on an Interstate with other cars or in the sparse Nevada desert. There you almost need to go at least 100.

As long as you don't get caught, I think it's okay.

Sometimes I drive that fast on the Interstate. You should try it. It's fun.
Yeah it's fun until you end up killing yourself or some innocent person minding their own business...then you'll be crying...or dead
Many of us are adrenaline junkies. I've skydived etc.
Its normal to want to do it, but its sucks getting a ticket or your liceanse pulled.
I recommend looking up a local race track!
i drive around 99mph (160 km/hr) - 136 (220 km/hr) daily on highway on my way to wok, i know it is stupid but i would be bored if i drove less than that..

i think this is normal & stupid, but it is ABNORMAL & suicidal if you drove with this speed in city! in cities my max speed is 62 mph (100 km/hr)
slow down buddy, you aren't Dale Earnhardt Jr, and that isn't exactly Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart you are passing :)
That is crazy I don't think my car can even go 100 as I have trouble reaching 70MPH on certain high speed bypasses.
Yeah its normal and fun if:
- The road is controlled access and designed/capable of high speeds: Rural, Flat or Straight with banking curves
- If your car is a sports car and is designed to drive/stop and maneuver at high speed (not a minivan or suv!)
- If you as the driver are paying attention and have a few years of experience driving at high speeds, for example on a track or in a 70mph zone.
- If you know there aren't any cops, are scanning for them or if you had familiarly with the route.
- If you have good insurance and don't mind the possibility of losing your license and privilege to drive for 5 years.
drive fast or get off the road. buy a bmw and you will know what driving pleasure is.
