Yeah, they do. Sometimes I go in people's houses and it smells like my great-grandfather's house or a friend I had when I was 5, and the memories come flooding back.
Sure, everybodys house smells different. I've gone into houses that smelt like candles, some smelt like moth balls, some smelt like pets, some smelt like smoke, etc. Of course the smell isn't always the best smell, but yeah, it's normal. Different houses do smell different.
Of course it's normal. Everyone uses different products in their houses and everyone gives off their own smell. Not everyone/everything is the same, ya know.
I moved into a new house when I was 16 and it always smelled like somebody elses home. I hated it and it never felt like home.
And I do wonder what my house smells like to other people too. Hopefully not catbox but I've heard no complaints. Actually, it probably smells like hippie...hehe.
it depends on your body smell and the age ad make up of the house itself all combined with the accumulation of the foid you cook.on a daily basis plus how well you clean. its kinda like an algabraic equation.
I think it's a beautiful thing. Everyone has a different scent. Sometimes when I miss somebody I can remember their smell. What is also amazing is how (VERY RARELY)someone's scent reminds me of a childhood memory. I think to myself, "WOW this place smells exactly like so-n-so's place from 3rd grade!"
I wonder what my house smells like.
Hopefully my house doesnae just reek of kitties, that'd be awful... Dog owners have very distinctive smells in their houses, I've noticed.
