My nephew, who is only ten years old has a fear of touching anything germy, I was quite suprised when I found out because I thought ten would've been too young. Any advice? Why is he like this?

Maybe parents/teachers/relatives that are hygiene freaks. Too much TV commercials.

There is nothing wrong of being scared of germs. It won't hurt the people around him so just let him be. You can never be too careful.

Your sib or someone close said something that scared the snot out of him. Why else? 10 year old boys shouldn't be scared of germs - they should be germy.
