I have a friend who is "dating" a 15 year old. They have had sex at least 5 times. Is this normal?? I don't think it is.....

I am a male and at 12 and a half I matured into a man. I was very horney but very healthy when I had wet dreams I made quite a mess.I knew I could make lots of babies. Some girls I played around with before puberty I meet them again after I matured.
They wanted me to get naked with them again.Nobody had ever told me about condoms.But ohboy was I horny and wanted to have sex with them.I took a cold shower and stayed away from them.I didn't have the mental abilities to be a father. Mentally I was still a boy. I guess that was good to do and take a cold shower.Otherwise there probably would be lots of cute little redheaded kids that looked like me running around my town looking for their father.

It happens, but I do not believe it's normal and I do not recommend it at all! I'm 21 and I didn't have sex until I was almost 18 and that was after my boyfriend(who is now my husband) and I had been dating for 6 months! I know sex is normal, but I also believe that a lot of girls now a days have a low level of self respect and just need/want to feel "loved" or be popular.

Personally I find it sad, but it kind of is normal.

My stance is: You should not have sex unless you A) use every amount of protection possible and B) are prepared and able to take responsibility for whatever might result from you having sex including but not limited to pregnancy or diseases.

I feel like our culture is too obsessed with growing up too fast and kids are becoming sexually active sooner and sooner because of it. At younger ages it doesn't seem like such a big deal because you feel older than you are. Looking back and even hearing about 11-16 year olds having sex is like hearing about toddlers having sex. It just doesn't need to be happening.

A little too young to be having sex, I would say anything younger than 16 is too young. But whatever, shit happens. Its normal to want to have sex when your a teenager, thats when your hormones are running wild and you want it. You could wait until your in your 30's and you wont enjoy it as much and you will have to take viagra everytime you want to fuck. Well, good luck with that. Most of my friends were about that age. Not me. A lot of young girls are very mature, at least physically, but its too young I think. But what can you do, it happens all the time. I just hope they don't get knocked up or raped or taken advantage of theor whole life. Poor young girls. ,so misguided :(

Sex is normal yes. However if you arent old enough to understand what can and will happen without protection then you shouldnt be having it. Unless you wanna end up a 13 year old mom that is. Which wouldnt be any fun.Also my biggest question would be do her parents know?Because really its up to THEM to deside if this is right or wrong.....not us.

Most girls actually do start having sex around the age of 13. Not boys tho girls mature at a younger age. And as people have said above it is not excepted by society. I beleive its natural but don't advise it. I started having sex at 13 and well... had a baby when I was 14. I wouldn't change it now cause I love my lil girl. But being a parent at such a young age is soo much harder than if you were older. And there is so much you miss and you grow up so fast. Your life is gone and your little ones becomes yours now. I then had my second at age 16. Talk about crazy. If she's going to have sex tho she better be prepared for the consequences. And always always remind her to use protection it really helps, haven't had baby number 3 since I absolutley use protection no matter what. Condoms are available at all local health units for no cost. ( absolutley free)!!!! :) And I'm greedy when it comes to protection I take about 200 everytime I go. Tell her not to be ashamed. But yes it's perfectly normal.

I do not understand what is there to 'regret' as long as you didn't get some disease or unwanted pregnancy.

As for the age, do you guys realize the legal age of marriage in US ranges from 12-15? Look it up and get educated. e.g in Massachusetts the legal age is 12!

Up until recently, most girls in the world used to get married and had kids before they were 18. Today everyone gets married late, which is one cause of population collapse in modern developed countries in Europe, Japan and white population in the US.

I'm a girl and I started having sex when I was 13, god I even lost my anal virginity at 13 also. I don't have any regrets on my actions either. And this was all totally normal for people my age at school, everyone was fucking each other. But now when I think about people I know that are 13 years old it makes me feel sick to think tht they might be having sex because they seem so young but then again it just depends on each person view on sex. To me sex is just sex, but to some people it means alot.

I think its actually very normal ,, much more than most people would admit, most everone I know had sex around that age or even earlier ,,, but make sure its using a rubber ... its easy to get pregnant starting about age 11 and thats a big problem.
