Is it normal for a 14 year old girl to be dating?

So my little sister is 14 she"ll be 15 in a couple months and she has gone to the movies with a boy who turned 16 a couple days ago...... And ive met the boy and hes a very nice kid... I personally never dated in high school...IIN for her to be going on dates with this boy at her age?

I began dating at 14. Had my first kiss when I was 14.
But didn't become sexually active until I was 16.
I am sure she is sensible. It's good to get some dating experience when you are a teen before you get into those big, heart breaking, serious relationships when you get older.

Well the age of consent is 16 here. Although most of my friends had sex before that. I was sensible and waited until I got into a trusting relationship. The majority of 16 year olds are mature and old enough to have sex.

My first girlfriend was 13 when we started dating and I was 15, same age gap. Me and her were together for 7.5 years before we decided to call it quits.

I was 15 when i lost my virginity to her, she wasn't a virgin though. It's pretty normal in Australia to be quite young.

When I was 14, I was forbidden to date... 14 seems to be a normal age nowadays for dating and though her boyfriend may seem nice, I urge that she's put on birth control and has had sex-ED. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Yeah it's normal. I personally didn't have a bf in middle/high school, but a lot of people I knew were dating. It's just that most relationships that start at that age don't last into adulthood. Most, not all.

I began dating at 13. IMO dating at 14 is very normal (I'm guessing she's a freshman in high school?) however dating a 16 year old could be enterpreted as less appropriate. Thats something your parents should be the judge of.
