This dude I know went to a new school a met this girl a year ago. He some how got her to give him her number and they have been talking. He told me they kissed and hugged and she even laid on top of him in a bed. They havent talk to each other in forever cause his parents found out. But I say they like each other and it should be ok for them to see each other. They both knew the situation and promised each other they werent going to do anything illigal. He did tell me loved her, and now he says he wont ever be happy with out her. what do you guys think about this "LOVE".

She should wait until he's of legal age to try pursuing a romantic relationship with him.

Only four years difference, but at that age four years makes a huge difference. I'd find it a little creepy myself.

Ha! "where are your pubes?" "i haven't got any?"

I think there's many forms of love that happens between the sexes that society would not find acceptable. People would probably be more judgmental if he was 19 and the girl was 15.

Frankly if people just did their thing and kept their mouths shut they'd be happier. It's only when someone blabs about it that shit get started. :) I'm referring to 'questionable' relationships in general and not the OP's post.

Lucky kid! I banged a 24 year old chick when I was 18, and that's a bigger age difference. But totally legal.

Like lufa said, it would be taken HORRIBLY if the gender rolls were reversed. Weird how that is...penises are simply demonized. It's great for him, but either way, 15 + 19 seems creepy to me.

He's just one year from legality in Kentucky, though. Keep it up playa teeny bopper!

Age is nothing but a number. I knew a friend who was a senior in high school and she was dating a 7th grader.

@: Boo!
that is a little weird. 7th graders are like 12 and 13 aren't they?

Yeah, I thought so too but when I saw them togehter it didn't feel that weird anymore. The guy didn't seem like a 7th grader, he was pretty mature for his age.

maybe the chick has a "older sister" fetish. I've seen this stuff in anime.

Sure, i think it's normal.. but I wouldn't expect an amazing sex of this relationship, lol.

In a girls perspective young guys are fun I was 20 and dating a 17 year old! That's not a big age gap but he was so much fun! After awhile I grew to love him, but him being 17 he wasn't ready for commitment but we are still good friends!

when i was 21 i was mad about a 15-year-old. i was celebate so it wasn't that dirty. maybe one of the only girls i ever loved, i was stuck on her for awhile. now i'm older and realize that things wouldn't have worked, but i still see her and we're friends. i also realize that there are millions of girls out there and one should avoid being stuck. i don't see the big deal about a 15-year-old and a 19-year-old but it is illegal in most states, even though most of our grandparents got married at 14 or 15.

Yeah, maybe in the fifteenth, sixteenth century people married at fourteen and fifteen, but not in the US anywhere in the early 1900s. I don't know where you live buddy, but my grandparents didn't get married that young- they were in their early twenties. Even my great-grandma didn't get married that young.

I live in the US at California

So everyone will stop asking

i live in the united states, and my grandparents married young, and so did the parents and grandparents of some of my co-workers. in places where farming was common, so was young marriage. some girls just want to get away from their families and some parents don't want to take care of their kids, so they marry them off young. i think in some states 16-year-olds can get married with their parents consent.

Why the double standards? If the genders were reversed, this would have a much higher normalcy rating -- why is that?

@: True
Cause an older male like a younger girl even sounds a little phedofilish to me

.....Eh. What? I really can't tell, but I don't think this addresses my inquiry.

Now THAT's the double standard True_Misanthrope was talking about. If a the older man/younger girl scenario seems pedophiliac, why is the older woman/younger man not pedophiliac? Despite what people seem to think, women can be "pedofilish" too.

People who say that age is nothing but a number are dumb. In this case, it IS more than a number. Why? Because the nineteen year old could go to jail if they do anything sexual with the fifteen year old. If the nineteen year old really did care for the fifteen year old, they'd either wait until they're of legal age, or they go for someone else, because until they're of legal age, they can't be touched by someone that much older than them.
