Turn the tables, if he's being sincere then he should have no problem with it. Hey, you're just making other good looking guys day by saying they're attractive. Give back to the other gender. Let's see how he likes it.

This is a tough subject but I think its normal to think this. The truth is, one that I'm sure you'll already know, being in relationship won't change the fact that other girls will be attractive. Eventually, the whole "If you really love her then you wouldn't think about anyone else" is highly unrealistic. If a girl looks good, she looks good, that won't change whether you're single or not. The difference is knowing how to control those thoughts and keep your attention to who you're with. Personally, I wouldn't go around telling other girls they are attractive and if I had to, certainly not around my girl. I also don't buy the part about him complimenting other girls to make them feel special since he is supposed to make his girlfriend only feel that way once taken, he speaks as if he is single.

I guess to wrap it up, its normal for him to find other girls attractive but if he straight walks up to another girl and says she is cute or something without her asking, especially around you and it bothers you, feel free to let him know.

I agree with you, why would he say to a girl that she looks beautiful or hot, would he like you to say it to guys whom you find attractive just to make them feel secure?

I've done it before. I guess it was mildly insensitive of me, but I don't think their was much objectively wrong with what I did. Although I might be offended if she acted that way towards other men, so maybe I'm just being a hypocrite.

My boyfriend did that. But he only did that to my friends. Telling them that they looked beautiful. And i agree, my friends are fucking gorgeous!
It freaked out my friends, and then i explained it to them how it was just an appreciation of beauty. Iwas cool with it, and it didnt bother me.

But its normal. If you dont like it, tell him how you feel about it. Dont get all spiteful an pissy about it, because it wont help you in any case. If he cares about you, then hell only do it when youre not around ;)

I think it depends on how he says it. Saying, "you look nice today," is a lot different from saying, "Damn...you're smokin' hot!"

I think it's okay to tell a girl she's pretty,But hot is inappropriate.And if he is doing it all the time,like 3 or 4 times everytime you go to a party then yeah that's over the top as well,especially if he approaches the girl first just to tell her she's pretty,that's considered flirting.

Keeping score and evening the playing field isn't going to solve anything- it's going to make it worse. Believe me, I've been there and tried getting even like that and it failed miserably. He doesn't sound like boyfriend material... he needs to get a grip on reality and realize that he is DATING someone and that those comments simply aren't allowed or appropo. GEEZ. I say dump him one million percent and find someone who actually cares about you and your feelings. Sheesh. Guys these days.
