Is it normal for a dream to impact your day?

For example, if I have a bad dream..I get an eerie feeling that stays with me a majority of the day. Or if I have a sexual dream, I carry an amorous feeling with me throughout the day.

Well last night, I had a random dream where I ate some nasty ice cream cone and it made me nauseous..so..LO AND BEHOLD! I've been nauseous all day long.

So, is it normal?

Yeah, this has happened to me as well. I recently had a very, very messed up dream, which has never happened to me before, and the next day I felt a bit disturbed.

I'd say it's normal.
