Is it normal for a "girly" guy to suddenly become extremely masculine?

I've been pretty androgynous, even feminine until my late 20s. Skinny, fashion obsessed, long hair styles. But the last 2 years it seems like the aliens have replaced my brain in my sleep -I got into bodybuilding, have a crew cut and since I obviously don't fit into my old fancy clothes (and some european car models) anymore a large Tshirt and jeans do just fine.

What bothers me sometimes it's how easily I've made the switch. Is it normal?

Well yeah, your brain is still developing and it doesn't slow down for another few years.

I think I prefer longer hair, but I want to suit short hair. I have pale skin, and I don't think pale suits short hair styles, so I try to keep mine longish. I might try to get a little darker shade of skin, but I am doubting if it's a good idea or not.

I want to look more masculine, but my skin tone just makes me look like a weird mix of masculine and feminine when I have short hair. I think I should get a little darker skin tone, to the stage of someone like Julian McMahon...Best looking guy, in my opinion. He has such a powerful look about him, and his style and features is very masculine.

puberty in late 20's? biology disagrees with you.. I'd say it's more in the category of "state of mind".
