I'm a sophomore studying mechanical engineering at the 5th best engineering school in the country. My classes are really hard and I get an average of 5-6 hrs of sleep a night (on the weekends, maybe 6-7 hrs) but I'm only taking 14 credit hours. I don't have time for socializing and my grades aren't all that great. I know engineering is a tough major, but I thought most people could at least get two of the three (social life, sleep, or good grades). Am I dumb, or is it normal to have such a hard time in engineering?
