My father is a overly religious man with old school values. I will inherit my fathers home and close to a million dollars when my father passes away( I hope he never dies). I'm atheist and bisexual, but my family thinks I'm straight. I pretend to believe in God and go to church. If he ever found out that I was an atheist bisexual, I'd be cutt off from the will. One of my brothers will inherit nothing because he openly worships Satan, and has openly experimented with other men. I have a good job, but if something were to go wrong, I will be able to fall back on the extra cash. Should I continue to live a lie if it benefits me? Is it normal?

Don't feel guilty. Do you think they believe that you're straight? If not, then you're going to have to make a "character" out of your charade. Get one of your female friends to pretend that you two are dating,etc.

i think that your father should love you for who you are, and if he is that religious then he should..... there is never a reall right time to say it but i think you should tell him, because your brother did it (even though he gets no money) maybe your father will come to his sences and realise that the way he is acting is stupid (no offence to your father!)

I just cannot do it. He is a very stubborn dude. He thinks everything he does and believes is right. If he disagrees with someone, he tries to force his beliefs in down their throats.
