Is it normal for my boss and I to talk about sex, at work?

My boss is an elderly gentleman and I am a young female. We talk about many subjects, sex being frequent because we both think about it a lot I guess. There's no sexual tension between us, he's not hitting on me and although I am not as liberal with the subject as he is, I'm not uncomfortable with it either. I love a good story.

So is it normal to talk about sex with my boss? I know it's against company policy and all, but we're both adults and we're both doing our job so niether of us see the harm.

It's not entirely normal but as long as neither if you feels uncomfortable it is not a problem.

how? thats like saying that theres sexual tension between me and my pianist....and we talk about sex all the time.

I ran into my boss at a sex shop once. I saw her but she didn't see me. I ran for the hills. Sex + Work= Harassment or some kind of trouble/loss of job

If an older man is talking to you about sex (telling stories), you better belive he wants to turn you on and have sex with you. It can be a form of sexual harassment.

I wouldn't be surprised if this guy does have at least a little interest in you but it seems he's keeping things fairly subtle.

I say as long as you're not uncomfortable with the discussions then it's fine...

If you feel comfortable talking to him about sex, go ahead. In the end we're all human, with the same general experiences.
