Reading eachothers diaries: ok, normal, trusting and sharing. Just lovely.

Reading without asking/being given permission: NO! That is a real privacy voliation!(Spelling?) He should be scolded. Same goes for reading email/sms. Except ofc when permission is implied. Though that is a grey area.

It is normal for him to be curious, but he should respect your privacy if you didn't want him reading it.

Well, did you write anything bad about him, or anything that could be offensive? If not, it's not a big deal, but if you want him to respect your privacy he should.
