Is it normal for your girlfriend to hate monkeys

Ok so my girlfriend is pregnant and i want to buy monkey stuff if its a boy. well she hates monkeys with a passion. She refuses to let me buy any thing with a monkey on it. she just says they are dirty and stupid when i ask why. is this normal! plus how can i change her mind!!!

Monkeys are way up the scale when it comes to intelligence and they're always grooming each other, so they're clean.

I tried to skim read your story and I got: OK so my girlfriend is pregnant and it was by a monkey.

I was like well seems like she loves monkeys too much.

That's ridiculous. Monkeys are funny and are the closest thing to a human. I don't think it's normal that she hates them. I don't think hating an animal in general is normal.

I hate monkeys tooo!!! I dooo, I hate how sexual they are, it's not a cute way of thinking of animals xS I know that's weird, cause all animals are sexual.. but that's just how I am. Why not compremise and get somthing else? Like cookie monster?? Or Mickey????
