Alright, well, this year I've been home-schooled because we've been moving a lot. I've developed an unusual sleeping pattern, in my opinion, that i feel guilty about, for some reason?
Everyday, i wake up around 12-2pm, and i go to bed around 2-5am.
We don't really do anything around all day long.
Don't bother suggesting a job, I've already applied to over 50+ this year, already..
But i know i sleep and wake up whenever my body wants to. I'm more alert, awake, and alive during the night. Like right now it's 3am, lol :P
So it this normal? Or more like, healthy and okay? I just feel guilty, and i can't sleep before midnight i just lay there, itching to get moving.
Is It Normal?

This is exactly what I do! I'm home schooled as well, and I always stay up till about 4am every single night and wake up in the early afternoon. It's horrible sleeping habits and I'm sure it's not healthy :/ but hey, atleast we are getting enough sleep :)

I work from home and that's exactly what I do too. It's fine :)

I wish my schedule would allow for that.
Those sleeping patterns would suit me much better than the standard ones.

I have several friends that work from 3 in the afternoon till eleven at night. They always go out after work and sleep till noon or one in the afternoon. I'm so jealous!

I was never home schooled, went to normal school and college and had similar sleep patterns in holidays and weekends :) completely normal.

I'm home schooled and lately my sleep cycle is off. I'll go to bed around 12am-3am sometimes even later than that and wake up around 8am-9am. I love to sleep, but I find the night more interesting.

Yeah that's normal. Is it healthy? Not at all. You might want to start to train your body to get on a regular sleeping pattern. If so I would recommend melatonen. It helps you sleep and gives you sick ass dreams

I agree it's normal to develop odd sleeping patterns when you aren't on a good schedule. However, is it good for you? I'm not sure. I think in my case, and watching my adult children in their lives, people get more done and are more productive and healthy, (and less overweight) when they follow a normal sleep schedule. You guys aren't getting much done at all, heck, you don't even get up till the day is almost over. Homeschool is quicker than regular day school, but what about cleaning, shopping, cooking, exercise, extracurricular activities?
