I was the borderline nerd in school, with a few close friends and otherwise no social interaction. And yet whenever I had to work with/ was roommates with the popular kids, they were really nice. Exceptionally nice. Much nicer than the loners and unpopular kids.
Now, when I see the typical dumb blonde popular stereotype, I can't help but cringe. Not all popular kids are mean or corrupt, and our society seems to be teaching children to hate anyone with any power.
People hate people who are successful, and it's not really fair. IIN?

I think there are two types of popular kid. The ones that are dominant by negativity, and the ones that are dominant by positivity. The positivity ones aren't as around as the negative ones.
The cleverest people are those are successful, powerful or popular without it being overly obvious that they are.
Yes, in some schools kids can be popular for being excellent in all aspects of their lives and because they are enjoyable to be around, but there is no controversy in that so why make entertainment about it?
