My uncle died when my dad was only 9 years old. My uncle was 18 at the time and he died in a car accident. I've always missed him and wished I met him but as I reached my 18th birthday and came closer to getting my licence the connection seemed closer then a few months after getting my licence I went to a group medium... He and his mother were there. I stayed quiet because I was nervous and didn't want to cry in front of all my partners family (I had gone with them) and ever since then it's been even more worse. I try talking to him but get nothing no hints... I feel this ache in my stomach when I miss him and I often cry about his death....

That's a little strange but there must be something you heard about him that you relate too.

The only thing I can't think of apart from the medium thing is being a similar age to him when he died... He was 18 and 3 weeks... I'm now 19 but we also both have January birthdays... I don't know...

I dont actually fully understand but if you mean a connection beyond the grave, no it's not normal but why think of it like a bad thing you get to connect with someone you love after their death, isn't that quite lucky?

Not quite like that... I mean an emotional connection not one where I can communicate or anything... It's more that his death has affected me probably more than other family members who have passed away that I have actually met!!
