Yay, another Thom Yorke lover:D!!

And I am exactly the same, literally. In fact, my friends seem to find a lot of amusement in the fact that one of biggest crushes is Lenin. Short and bald don't usually qualify as attractive, yet I absolutely love him! He has to be one of the most attractive people I have ever seen.


But hey, less competition, right? Seriously though, back off Thom, he's mine:P!

People think Thom Yorke is unattractive? Unacceptable. JK :P
He is rather charming in my opinion. But hey? That's just me.

Anyway, yes. It is normal. Everyone has their preferences.

You want to know what is slightly disturbing? My Mothers friend from work said she would leave her husband for, Richard Simmons.

Yeah, that seems to be my problem as well. I will see a guy who seems cute and intelligent and very good looking but most of my friends will see him as unattractive, possibly because the guys I like don't fit the typical stereotype of overly testosteroned masculine dudes. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, of course, and ultimately, the men that I found were usually more loyal, faithful and caring than the "sexy" losers that my friends got a hold of.

I've only had one crush in my past that was hot and masculine but he was a rather nice guy. All my other crushes weren't masculine but I found rather cute because they were rather nice and funny. :) But I also thought they were attractive of course.

It's normal. I'm the same exact way. Sometimes guys like that are sweeter, better, more honest. And better lovers.

It is definately normal, pretty or handsome is all relative ;-)

You know what I don't understand is how people think Ian Somerwhatever is good looking.

Well, I don't know what to say about that. I only like beautiful, devine men. Although, I don't find tan skin to be "attractive".

I feel the same way. Except for this one guy I was close with that I liked back in HS. For some reason, I thought I was the only one who liked him, but I was so wrong. I didn't realize that he had a flock of girls from each grade gawking at him, until the day I noticed he was slipping away from me.

But most of the time, I like guys that aren't ugly, but usually aren't the stereotypical 'hot guy' that girls would be chasing down at street corners. However, to me... in my eyes they'd be perfect. And despite that people would probably disagree on someones looks with me, I'd like that person anyway, because if you're attracted to the person, and you like them, who they are as an individual, you want something with them... the opinions of others shouldn't matter. And especially on looks, because all people have different tastes anyway. Its normal.

beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. For me, unattractive guys become more appealing to me once I get to know and like their personality.

Sure, ugly people need love too!
