No, that person is completely right. Seriously, I think it's one of those things that someone has to be white to understand completely because it happens all the time. If a white person were to say something along the lines of, "I only like white girls and don't even think about black girls," and they actually said it aloud where other people could hear them, I guarantee you that person would either get accused of being racist, jumped, or even in some areas (believe it or not) killed because that is the kind of thing that happens when someone thinks someone else is being racist. It is used as an excuse to bash people.

Although I have heard non-white people say the same thing about whites and noone even raises an eyebrow.

Personally I don't care, everybody's got their preference and that's inevitable. But there is a double standard.
