I don't know what so great about living in the USA, life's way to complicated and I hate being an American! I honestly don't know why, I just want to live in a tiny market city in England or anywhere in the UK basically. Their music is better, their air is cleaner, there aren't so many fat people and black and whites get along for the most part... Is this normal?

When Austinsmith47 pointed out that the grass isn't always greener on the other side, I was struck by how true that is.
As an English girl who emigrated, I can tell you that the UK definitely isn't as great as it's cracked up to be.
Racial diversity is accepted, sure - with some people. It's sad how racist this whole world is...everywhere you go, whoever you meet: some people are good, others bad.
I hated growing up as a kid in England, I thought it was 'The Land of Grey and Boring' and needed to be spiced up.
The drug abuse, street crime and alcoholism is extensive, and some of the countryside has been messed up by drunken revellers throwing bottles in the grass, illegal party raves crushing wildlife over nature reserves.
I hate partying anyway, I don't drink or do drugs, and in England that's almost a crime!
I grew up having never travelled, imagining that every other place MUST be better than this; that if only I could emigrate, things would be okay.
But at age 17, I moved in with my Irish husband to Dublin - and to be honest, it's not much different.
The people in England are more superficial, more fake than the Irish, but the drink still gets glugged, the discos still go on.
I know I'd never move back to England - but to tell the honest truth, I think most places have their downsides.
However awesome they are!
I hope this was useful, a bit of insight from a girl from Old Blighty!
Feel free to ask any questions!
xx
Just kidding, that is an absolutely amazing thought though!
I guess when you're somewhere other than the place you see day in, day out, you appreciate it more. For my part, I'd quite like to live in America for a while, so maybe Britain isn't as great as it seems. It's home, though.
P.S. If you really did want to move and needed advice or help about anything, just ask.
And then I thought about starting a war with the French. :P
Although perhaps my view is clouded by the fact that I live here and therefore it is bound to seem a little boring.
But if you are rich enough to live in the nicest of places, then you'll be fine. Sadly, not all of us have money and have to put up with bad people.
nearly half are going to be obese
blacks and whites do not get on very well
and any city is a shithole full of illegal imagrants
i would do anything to move to another country!
The entire EU is collapsing. You know, that thing with Greece and all... And Spain asking for a bailout... and Italy is just as bad, and so on, and so forth...
America is collapsing, too. You just have a teeny weeny bit more time here. Stock up on provisions, protection, and things like that. You know, like camping. Only you may have to shoot someone to protect your 'fort'.
Just saying.
But seriously, you're doin' it wrong.
It's: FUCK THE CORPORATE ENTITY CALLED THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA THAT IS ACTUALLY JUST THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA SWELLED INTO THE SHAPE OF THE STATES BECAUSE THE STATES DON'T MEAN SHIT ANYMORE AND WE'RE ALL LITTLE WALKING CORPORATION-SLAVES TO THE BIG BANKERS WHO ARE RUNNING US INTO THE GROUND FOR THE PURE PLEASURE OF IT.
It's an awesome place to be.
your country is always going to be Boring because you live their and know the place, I have learned to love my country even though I hate something's about it.
but try traveling to the UK maybe holidaying for a few weeks and then GO back Home and decide if you still want to move to the UK Because when you go to another country you will start to miss something about home.
