I guess it's normal because her age is supernatural considering that most humans live to be in their mid 70s. However, I don't think that you should be scared of her, in fact you should be enchanted. I love talking to my grandma simply because of her stories and life experience. I suggest that you talk to her because it's possible that you can learn something from someone who's been alive for so long.

Maybe your just a bad person. Throw away the old folks huh? Do you think that a person who has seen everything in the last century is a creepy old person that you can not wait to see dead. Maybe your the one who is the creep. You should embrace the opportunity to get to know where it is that you came from. It could just make you a better person.

I understand that they're kinda creepy but not to the point I'd freak out if someone talked to one.

What you don't realise is that she is just the same as you, only in an older body. Get to know her, she might have been a right devil in her day and tell you some of the things she got up to.

I think the average lifespan for women is now 84yo in the Western world and a man 78yo - so you may prepare for it.

My great aunt lived to be 99 years old. didnt know her that well though.

my great grandma smoked and drank all her life, and lived to be 84.

if she was around today, she would have turned 95 in March.

Wow... I'm sorry, but you sound pretty shallow. It's normal if you don't like your grandma because you think she's annoying, but not liking her SOLELY because she's old?? You should think it's cool that she's that old! Especially since not a lot of people live to be that long.
