First off my little brother who is 13 years old is worried because he has not hit puberty yet. So he wanted me two ask. He is 13, his height is 4'11, he weighs about 80 pounds, his penis size is about 3 or 4 inches, he has cubic hair, but few on his legs and face and he has no hair under his arms. Is this normal, and if so when will he start puberty?Any comments would help thanks.

It's normal. I was a very late bloomer! Didn't actually have a womanly figure until college. Left high school looking like a kid and came back a hottie! well not really haha but you know what i mean. so yeah sometimes it just takes a little longer.

Puberty varies from person to person. Kids can hit puberty as young as 9 and start as late as 16. It does not matter unless your brother gets to thirty and still no sign of those arm pit hairs, haha :)

It's normal. Everyone hits it at different times. Personally, I didn't hit puberty until I was almost seventeen.

Really? I was halfway there by 10 it seemed, but I didn't even know what else it did until I was 12. Go figure.

But yeah, I knew a dude that didn't start until around 17 or 18. And it all takes time, tell him to be patient.

girls usually started developing but males can start anytime after 10. one of my mates didnt start till he was like 17

yup, it's normal. i'm 23, and just started a few years ago. i'm a REALLY late bloomer, and slow. i'm still not all the way through

puberty at age 13 is totally normal. Thats when most boy's start, and its completely normal to have pubic hair but no underarm hair. LATE BLOOMER

It's truly just different for everyone. I, too, was a late bloomer. It's probably best to tell him that he should be thankful to have his childhood, because once it's gone, there's no getting it back.
