do you people think it is normal to love star trek i have a life but i still like watching star
trek when ever it is on i like deep space nine the most
Deep Space Nine!? I may like Star Trek, but Deep Space Nine is terrible in my opinion. Get back to the roots, watch the original. Seen it? Watch it again. Watched it twice? See it a third time! Especially the Tribble episode and the one this the Rubiks Cube looking thing.
I was with you until you said "Deep Space Nine." That was quantifiably the worst of all the Star Trek variants. You are sick and should seek professional help, right away.
In my opinion, DS9 was the bst of them but they stole the main ideas for the show from Babylon 5, a much better show.
It is true, the storylines are rather similar and the writer of Babylon 5, JMS, tried to sell his story and failed to Paramont. I was a big Babylon 5 fan due to the briliant writing when I was in high school. (Tell me a show with a better storyline or a more consistant storyline that reaches toward a plot from the start of the show. Okay, Season 2 to 4 were the good ones, the rest were rather crappy.)
I miss intelligent television or a decent writer, now even reality tv shows are horrily written.
It is true that DS9 was lame for a long time. However it picked up during the Dominion War seasons toward the end of the show. However, I felt the show as well as the rest of Star Trek, took a great idea and screwed it up.
The average show is like making a mess with a pen rather than rewriting "A Tale of Two Cities." Way to set the bar for those who write now, no wonder I stopped watching television in general.

the original imo is the best.
so liking star trek: normal
liking DS9: not normal
Enjoying DS9 the most is not. In fact, that alone is reason to seek professional help. Now.

DS9 tried to be like Babylon 5, like stating in my last post, and tried to change the format that people liked.
I guess I liked it better than the rest as I perfer a complex storyline and a plot that goes on for more than just one episode.
