For some reason, when I like a guy I don't seem to have any empathy for him. When he is in pain or burdened, I don't care, and infact, I usually find pleasure in it. I have empathy for other people, just not the guys I crush on. Is this normal?

Sounds like maybe you don't mind or find a little pleasure in it because you don't think they're interested.

You said you don't feel empathy for the guys YOU'RE crushing on. Could this be because you don't see them as possibly having feelings for you?

Maybe it makes you feel a little better to see them suffer in a way you may be because of your feelings for them. Idk.
